Where to Buy Paper Planes in New Orleans Metro

Three shops around New Orleans carry Paper Planes: Nouveau downtown on Canal Street, Nouveau2 across the river in Gretna, and Politics out in Metairie.

Start with the heat. Between May and September, the pieces that make sense here are bucket hats and truckers, mesh back, no structure, built for weather that makes a wool fitted unpleasant. For the year-round ask, the Original Crown is the 9Fifty the brand launched with and the piece all three are most likely to hold.

Then work out your side of the river. Anyone from here knows you do not cross the Crescent City Connection on a whim, so choose the bank first and the shop second.

Nouveau and Nouveau2 being one business is what makes that split smart rather than accidental, one shop catching Canal Street foot traffic, one on the Westbank so nobody in Gretna or Algiers has to cross a bridge for a hat.
