Paper Planes SoHo
252 Lafayette Street, New York, NY 10012 · (917) 540-6993 Open Monday–Saturday 11am–7pm, Sunday 12pm–6pm.
The SoHo flagship is the only store Paper Planes owns. Everywhere else the brand appears in person, it appears as a guest on somebody else's shelf, 56 independent retailers who choose what they buy. This is the one address where the brand controls the whole thing.
It opened in October 2023, the brand's first permanent brick-and-mortar location. Before it there was a pop-up at Gurney's in Montauk and a seasonal Hamptons presence that has continued.
Why it is different from a stockist
Future-season collections arrive here first. Roughly a month before they launch online. That is the single strongest reason to visit rather than order, and no stockist can offer it.
In-store exclusives. The Fine Artist Collaboration series has released in-store, alongside recording-artist collaborations and album signings.
The full range. Independent stockists buy selectively and none carries everything. Here, everything is here.
The store itself
The design concept is travel, in the brand's own framing, travel in all its forms. That is the same idea the folded-flag logo carries and the reason the catalogue is full of airport codes and terminal references.
Black-and-white facade, light interior.
